- 500G Aunt Bessie'S Maple & Thyme Glazed Carrots
- 1.5 Kg Best In Plain Flour 1.5 Kg
Instructions
- 1. Heat 1/4 cup vegetable oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat.
- 2. Add 1 cup sliced carrots and 1 chopped onion to the skillet. Sauté for 2 minutes until slightly softened.
- 3. Remove the carrots and onions from the skillet and set aside.
- 4. Add 2 pounds of cubed venison to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the meat is browned and cooked through.
- 5. Sprinkle 1/2 cup flour over the venison and stir to coat evenly.
- 6. Gradually add 1 1/2 cups water to the skillet, stirring constantly to create a smooth sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- 7. Return the carrots and onions to the skillet and mix well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to combine flavors.
