- 120 Ml Lee Kee Seasoned Rice Vinegar 120ml
- 160 Ml Cj Bibigo Sesame Oil
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- - Ginger - 100g
- 450G Pack'D Organic Broccoli Florets
- 100 g Yorkshire English Carrots 100G
- 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
- 1 Bunch Spring Onions 1 Bunch
- 500G Biona Organic Long Grain Italian White Rice
- - Schwartz Sesame Seeds
- - Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- 300G Brown Sugar With Ginger, 300G
- 400G Whole Chickpeas In Water
Instructions
- 1. Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut into bite-sized cubes.
- 2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the teriyaki sauce.
- 3. Coat the tofu cubes with cornstarch and pan-fry in sesame oil until golden and crispy on all sides.
- 4. Steam the broccoli florets until tender but still crisp, about 5 minutes.
- 5. Thinly slice the carrot, red bell pepper, and spring onions, then sauté them in a pan for 3 minutes.
- 6. Cook the white rice in water over medium heat until tender, approximately 15 minutes.
- 7. Pour the teriyaki sauce into the pan with sautéed vegetables and simmer for 2 minutes to coat them well.
- 8. Add the crispy tofu to the pan and gently mix to ensure it's coated with the sauce.
- 9. Assemble the bowl by placing rice as the base, then layering tofu and vegetables on top.
- 10. Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped spring onions over the bowl for added texture and flavor.
