  • 250Ml Ktc Coconut Oil 250ml

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. Wash the acorn squash, apples, and onion thoroughly. Slice the acorn squash into rings, core and slice the apples into rings, and cut the onion into rings.
  3. 3. In a large skillet, melt 1/4 cup of light butter over medium heat. Add the onion rings and sauté for 5 minutes until softened.
  4. 4. Arrange the acorn squash rings in a single layer in an ungreased rectangular baking dish (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
  5. 5. Layer the sautéed onion rings and apple slices over the squash. Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of ginger, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice.
  6. 6. Drizzle 3 tablespoons of honey evenly over the layered ingredients.
  7. 7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the squash is tender and lightly caramelized.
