Instructions
- 1. Slice 4 onions and sauté them in 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat until golden and caramelized, about 15 minutes.
- 2. Toast 4 slices of ciabatta until golden brown, then butter them lightly if desired. Cut the toast into 1-inch cubes.
- 3. In a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, layer the bread cubes evenly. Spread the caramelized onions over the bread cubes, ensuring even coverage.
