- 250G Captain Cook Dry Salted Skinless & Boneless Cod Fillets
- - Bwfo Organic Wild Rice
- 300 g Trs Flake Rice Thick Pawa 300G
- - Fresh Asian Mooli Radish Daikon Exotic Vegetable
- - Biona Capers In Olive Oil
- 75G Greenfields Hot Wings Seasoning, 75G
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- 250 Ml Trs Lemon Juice 250Ml
- 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums
- 100G Heera Black Pepper Powder 100g
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the wild rice under cold water and set aside.
- 2. Bring 300ml of water to a boil in a saucepan, add the wild rice, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- 3. While the rice cooks, peel and thinly slice the chayote squash and mooli radish into bite-sized pieces.
- 4. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and sauté the vegetables until tender and slightly caramelized.
- 5. Season the sautéed vegetables with half a teaspoon of salt and pepper, then set aside.
- 6. Pat the cod fillets dry with a paper towel and brush with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- 7. Rub the cod fillets evenly with Schwartz Italian Seasoning, remaining salt, and pepper.
- 8. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and place the seasoned cod fillets skin-side down.
- 9. Cook the cod for 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- 10. Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, then drizzle lemon juice over the cod.
