A nutritious and delicious Rajasthani-inspired dinner featuring protein-rich moong dal chillas rolled up with a tangy tomato-mint filling.
Ingredients
- 6 Each Golden Yolk Eggs 6 Pack
- 200G Natoora Cave Grown Brown Paris Mushrooms
- 1 Kg Natco Mung Dal (Moong Dal) Yellow, 1Kg
- - Sapna Ginger Garlic Paste 1kg
- 500 G Brown & Polson Cornflour
- 550G Chipotle Chilli Paste, 550G
Instructions
- 1. Rinse and soak moong dal in water for 4 hours, then drain and blend to a smooth paste.
- 2. Add turmeric powder, cumin seeds, and 1 tsp salt to the dal paste, mixing well to form a batter.
- 3. Heat a non-stick pan and grease lightly with oil, then spread a ladle of batter into a thin circle.
- 4. Cook the chilla for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown, then remove and repeat for remaining batter.
- 5. Chop the tomatoes finely and sauté with 1/2 tsp salt in 1 tbsp oil for 5 minutes until softened.
- 6. Blend the sautéed tomatoes with mint leaves to make a smooth and tangy filling.
- 7. Spread a layer of the tomato-mint filling on each chilla and roll tightly into wraps.
- 8. Serve warm, optionally garnished with fresh mint leaves.
