- 187 Ml Pure Maple Syrup, 187Ml
- 6 Per Pack Disney Mini Apples
- - PLJ Lemon Juice Original Sharp 500ml
- 1.5 Kg Bacheldre Organic Stoneground Spelt Flour, 1.5Kg
- 100 G Fudco Cinnamon Powder
- - Freshskin Beauty Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
- 100G Borwicks Baking Powder, 100G
Instructions
- 1. Mix chia seeds with 45 ml of water and let it sit for 5 minutes to form a gel-like consistency.
- 2. In a large bowl, combine spelt flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt, then whisk to mix evenly.
- 3. Gradually add plant-based milk, chia seed gel, and maple syrup to the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
- 4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease with coconut oil.
- 5. Pour a small ladle of batter onto the pan, cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
- 6. Core and dice apples into small cubes, then place them in a saucepan over medium heat.
- 7. Add lemon juice, cinnamon, and a splash of water to the apples, cooking until they soften and form a compote-like texture.
- 8. Remove pancakes from the pan and stack them on serving plates.
- 9. Spoon the warm apple compote generously over the pancakes.
- 10. Drizzle a little extra maple syrup on top for sweetness if desired.
