  • 500 g Whole Farm Premium Quinoa Seeds
  • 400G Chtoura Foods Boiled Chickpeas In Brine
  • 500 g Spt Frozen Mixed Vegetables
  • - Coconut Oil
  • 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Ginger Powder
  • - Garlic Powder
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under cold water to remove any bitterness.
  2. 2. Heat coconut oil in a deep pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Stir in turmeric, ginger powder, and garlic powder, sautéing for 1 minute until aromatic.
  4. 4. Add the frozen mixed vegetables to the pan and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. Mix in the cooked chickpeas and sauté for another 2 minutes to blend flavors.
  6. 6. Pour 320 ml of water into the pan and bring it to a boil.
  7. 7. Add the rinsed quinoa, reduce the heat to low, and cover the pan with a lid.
  8. 8. Let the quinoa simmer for 15 minutes or until all the water is absorbed.
  9. 9. Turn off the heat and allow the pilaf to rest, covered, for 5 minutes for fluffier grains.
