- 125 Ml Kikkoman Mirin-Style Sweet Cooking Seasoning, 125Ml
- 160 Ml Cj Bibigo Sesame Oil
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- - Ginger - 100g
- - Imperial Elephant Jasmine Fragrant Rice
- 120 Ml Lee Kee Seasoned Rice Vinegar 120ml
- 1 Bunch Spring Onions 1 Bunch
- - Yutaka White Miso Paste
- - Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- 300G Brown Sugar With Ginger, 300G
- 400G Whole Chickpeas In Water
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then cook it in 240ml of water over low heat until tender.
- 2. Slice the tofu into cubes and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- 3. In a small bowl, mix miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, and a splash of water to create the glaze.
- 4. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat and sear the tofu cubes until golden on all sides, then set aside.
- 5. Pour the miso glaze into the same pan and simmer until thickened, then coat the tofu in the glaze thoroughly.
- 6. Trim the bok choy, separating the leaves, and mince the garlic and ginger finely.
- 7. Heat neutral oil in a wok or pan, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant, then add bok choy and stir-fry until tender-crisp.
- 8. Season the cooked rice with rice vinegar and stir in toasted sesame seeds for a nutty flavor.
