Ingredients

  • - Everest Paneer
  • 60G Terre Exotique Black Sao Tome Pepper, 60G
  • - Sunita Lemon Juice Organic
  • - Ktc Vegetable Oil
  • - Tata Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup vinegar, 1 1/2 cups cooking oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, and the juice of 1 lemon until well combined.
  2. 2. Place 500 g paneer slices in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and marinate for at least 3 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. 3. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  4. 4. Remove the paneer slices from the marinade and arrange them on the prepared baking tray. Reserve the marinade for later use.
  5. 5. Bake the paneer slices in the oven for 15 minutes, then flip them over and bake for another 10 minutes until golden and slightly crisp.
  6. 6. While the paneer is baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
  7. 7. Once the paneer is done, drizzle the thickened marinade over the slices for added flavor.
  8. 8. Serve the marinated paneer steaks warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired. Enjoy your Jain-friendly dinner!
