Ingredients

  • 500 Ml Freja Beef Classic Bone Broth
  • 1 Kg Carrots - 1kg
  • 1kg 1kg Green Pepper
  • 1 Bunch Spring Onions 1 Bunch
  • 400G Natco Lotus Root 400g
  • - Schwartz Bay Leaves
  • 200 g Nandus Mutton Mince
  • 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
  • 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
  • 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 100 g Catch Super Garam Masala
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
  • 200 G Rock Salt Powder - Sprinkler 200 G

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a deep pan and add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds.
  3. 3. Drain the rice and add it to the pan. Stir for 2 minutes to coat with the oil and cumin.
  4. 4. Add 400 ml of water and a pinch of rock salt. Cover and cook the rice on low heat until fluffy.
  5. 5. In a separate pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds.
  6. 6. Add finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  7. 7. Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chillies, cooking for 2 minutes until aromatic.
  8. 8. Stir in chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and blend into the mixture.
  9. 9. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and garam masala. Mix well.
  10. 10. Add mutton mince, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned.
  11. 11. Pour in 100 ml of water, cover the pan, and simmer for 15 minutes until the keema is fully cooked.
  12. 12. Garnish the keema with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  13. 13. Serve the spiced mutton keema alongside the jeera rice for a complete meal.
