  • 1 Head Organic Romaine Lettuce
  • 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
  • 500 G Natco Popping Corn
  • 100G Fresh Spices Fresh Small Green Chillies
  • 250 G Veenas Fresh Garlic
  • 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
  • Bunch Spring Onion (Bunch)
  • 1 L Crisp N Dry Oil
  • 350G Fried Tomato Sauce, 350G
  • 500 Ml Haday Signature Dark Soy Sauce, 500Ml

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the base of the Organic Romaine Lettuce and separate the leaves, shaping them into small cups. Dip the lettuce leaves in ice-cold water for 10-15 minutes to keep them crisp.
  2. 2. Heat cooking oil in a deep pan and fry popping corn until they puff up. Remove and set aside for topping.
  3. 3. In a separate pan, heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil over medium heat. Add 1 teaspoon of finely chopped garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. 4. Add ½ cup of finely chopped carrots, ½ cup each of diced red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, and small green chillies. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
  5. 5. Stir in ½ cup of finely chopped basil and 1 cup of very finely chopped malai paneer cubes. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. 6. Add 1 tablespoon of Sriracha Super Hot Chilli Sauce, 1 tablespoon of sambal oelek, 1 tablespoon of Fried Tomato Sauce, 1 tablespoon of schezwan chutney, and ½ teaspoon of Haday Signature Dark Soy Sauce. Season with Hand Harvest Fine Sea Salt and ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. 7. Add 1 teaspoon of vinegar and 8-10 crushed basil leaves. Stir well and let the mixture cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  8. 8. Add 1 tablespoon of finely chopped spring onion greens and mix well. Remove the mixture from the heat and transfer it to a bowl.
  9. 9. To assemble, fill each lettuce cup with 1-2 tablespoons of the prepared mixture. Top with the fried popping corn for added crunch.
  10. 10. Serve the lettuce cups immediately as a fresh and flavorful appetizer or snack.
