- 500G Sabarot Split Peas From France, 500G
- - Tata Salt
- 100 G Trs Ground Cumin Jeera Powder
- 60G Terre Exotique Smoked Paprika, 60G
Instructions
- 1. In a clean quart jar, layer 1/2 cup of dried lentils, followed by 1/2 cup of black beans, 1/2 cup of pinto beans, 1/2 cup of black-eyed peas, and 1/2 cup of dried peas.
- 2. Seal the jar tightly with a canning lid to preserve freshness.
- 3. To prepare the soup, empty the contents of the jar into a large pot and rinse thoroughly under cold water.
- 4. Add 8 cups of water to the pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
- 5. Season the soup with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp ground cumin, and 1/2 tsp smoked paprika. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
