Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the rice and red lentils thoroughly under cold water and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat sesame oil in a rice cooker on sauté mode and finely chop garlic cloves.
  3. 3. Add chopped garlic into the rice cooker and sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the rinsed rice and lentils, and mix well to coat them with the sesame oil.
  5. 5. Pour in water, gochujang paste, soy sauce, and rice vinegar, stirring until everything is combined.
