  • 1 Kg Yellow/White Onion 1kg
  • - Thomas Ridley Fresh British Beef Mince
  • - Cathedral City Mature Cheddar Cheese
  • 400G Sabarot Chia Seeds, 400G
  • 395G D'Aucy Chopped Spinach
  • NaN Old India Blanched Ground Almond Flour

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. 2. Cook 1 cup of spinach in a skillet over medium heat until wilted. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of the liquid.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté 1 diced onion until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Add 1 lb of ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess grease.
  5. 5. Stir in the reserved spinach liquid, 6 oz of tomato paste, and 8 oz of tomato sauce into the beef mixture. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked spinach, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of almond flour, and 2 tablespoons of chia seeds mixed with 6 tablespoons of water. Mix well to form a cohesive mixture.
  7. 7. Spread the spinach mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  8. 8. Pour the beef and tomato mixture over the spinach layer, spreading it evenly.
  9. 9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbling and the top is lightly browned.
