Ingredients

  • - Emma Basic Dried Seaweed Sushi Nori
  • 450 G English Cucumber 450-550g
  • 1 Kg Haruka Sushi Rice, 1Kg
  • 100G Ginger 100G
  • - Dark Soy Sauce
  • - Yutaka Wasabi Paste

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the sushi rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. 2. In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce. Gently fold this mixture into the cooled sushi rice to season it evenly.
  3. 3. Prepare the vegetables: Peel and slice the English Cucumber into thin strips. Cut the Red Bell Pepper into thin strips as well. Scoop out the flesh of the avocado and slice it into thin strips.
  4. 4. Lay a sheet of dried seaweed sushi nori on a bamboo sushi mat, shiny side down.
  5. 5. Spread a thin, even layer of the seasoned sushi rice over the nori, leaving about 1 inch of space at the top edge.
  6. 6. Arrange a few strips of English Cucumber, Red Bell Pepper, and avocado horizontally across the center of the rice.
  7. 7. Using the bamboo mat, carefully roll the nori sheet tightly from the bottom edge, pressing gently to form a firm sushi roll. Seal the roll by moistening the top edge of the nori with a little water.
  8. 8. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients to make additional sushi rolls.
  9. 9. Lightly toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat until fragrant, then sprinkle them over the sushi rolls for added flavor and texture.
  10. 10. Slice the sushi rolls into bite-sized pieces using a sharp knife. Wipe the knife with a damp cloth between cuts to ensure clean slices.
  11. 11. Serve the Jain Sushi with additional dark soy sauce on the side for dipping.
