Ingredients

  • 1 Unit Dudhi / Bottle Gourd - Taj Spices
  • - Greenfields Ground Coriander
  • Single Capsicum/Green Pepper (Single)
  • 1.5 Kg Natco Rice Flour, 1.5Kg
  • - Ktc Gram Flour 2kg
  • 100G Natco Kashmiri Chilli Powder, 100G
  • NaN Trs Haldi Powder Turmeric

Instructions

  1. 1. Peel and grate the bottle gourd. Squeeze out excess water and reserve it for adjusting consistency later. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated bottle gourd, gram flour, rice flour, ground coriander, Kashmiri chilli powder, and fine sea salt. Add the chopped capsicum, tomato, and Italian flat leaf parsley. Mix well to form a thick batter.
  2. 2. Divide the mixture into small portions. Roll each portion into a ball and gently flatten it into a disc shape.
  3. 3. Heat a non-stick pan or tawa and drizzle some cooking oil. Place the prepared discs on the hot pan and cook on medium heat. Flip the discs once they turn golden brown on one side. Add a little more oil if needed and cook the other side until crisp.
  4. 4. Remove the discs from the pan and place them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  5. 5. Serve hot with mint-coriander chutney or tomato ketchup.
