- 500 G Chicken Breast Steaks 500g Garlic Butter
- NaN Akash Basmati Rice
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the basmati rice in water for 30 minutes, then drain it completely.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and fry sliced onions until golden brown, then set aside for garnishing.
- 3. Marinate chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, and salt for 15 minutes.
- 4. Heat oil and ghee in a large pot, add bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom, and sauté for 1 minute.
- 5. Add marinated chicken to the pot and cook until the chicken is tender and the masala thickens.
- 6. In another pot, boil water with salt and cook the rice until it is 70% cooked, then drain it.
- 7. Layer the cooked chicken masala and rice alternately in the pot, sprinkling fried onions, mint, and coriander between layers.
- 8. Cover the pot tightly and cook on low heat for 15 minutes to allow the biryani to steam and flavors to meld.
- 9. Gently fluff the rice and serve the biryani hot with a side of raita or pickle.
