- 1.5 Kg Best In Plain Flour 1.5 Kg
- - Caputo Gluten Free Flour
- 1 L Ktc Sunflower Oil
Instructions
- 1. Cut 1 kg of chicken into pieces and set aside.
- 2. Heat 120 ml of sunflower oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add 1 diced onion and sauté until slightly browned, about 5 minutes. Remove the onion and transfer it to a large Dutch oven.
- 3. In the same pan, add the chicken pieces. Season with 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 1 tsp garlic powder. Brown the chicken on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
- 4. Sprinkle 2 tbsp paprika evenly over the chicken. Once the chicken is browned, transfer it to the Dutch oven with the onions.
- 5. Add enough water to the Dutch oven to cover the chicken. Bring to a simmer over low heat and cook until the chicken is tender, about 30-40 minutes. Remove the chicken and set it aside on a plate.
- 6. In a small bowl, whisk together 200 ml sour cream and 2 tbsp flour until smooth. Gradually stir this mixture into the simmering liquid in the Dutch oven to create a thickened gravy. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.
- 7. Meanwhile, prepare the dumplings by combining 4 cups of flour, 1 cup of Greek yogurt, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Gradually add water until a soft dough forms.
- 8. Drop spoonfuls of the dough into a pot of boiling salted water. Cook the dumplings until they float to the surface, about 3-5 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
- 9. Serve the chicken with the paprika gravy poured over it, accompanied by the dumplings. Enjoy your meal!
