- 200G All Things Butter Unsalted Butter
- - Thomas Ridley Fresh British Beef Mince
- - Knorr Stock Pot Vegetable
- 400G Chevington Grated Mild Cheddar
- - Longley Farm Cottage Cheese
- 200 G Authentic Greek Yogurt
- 800G Essential Cuisine Savoury Wild Mushroom Sauce, 800G
- 70G Mill & Mortar Citrus Salt Flakes, 70G
Instructions
- 1. Cook 2 cups of noodles in boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- 2. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add 2 chopped onions and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- 3. In the same skillet, brown 1 pound of ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
- 4. Mix the cooked ground beef with the sautéed onions and 1 cup of cottage cheese in a bowl.
- 5. Grease a casserole dish. Layer 1/3 of the cooked noodles at the bottom, followed by 1/2 of the beef mixture. Repeat the layers, finishing with the remaining noodles on top.
- 6. In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of stock, 1 jar of mushroom sauce, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt. Pour this mixture evenly over the casserole.
- 7. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of grated cheese over the top layer of noodles.
- 8. Mix 1 cup of Greek yogurt and pour it evenly over the cheese layer.
- 9. Bake the casserole, uncovered, in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 1 hour, or until the top is golden and the casserole is bubbling.
- 10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
