Ingredients
- 50G Picard Chopped Flat Parsley
- 80 Ml Ladolea Set Of 2 Lemon & Oregano Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 80Ml
- 500G Sabarot Lentils Mix, 500G
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store

- 250 G Veenas Fresh Garlic
- 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
- 1 Kg Coarse Sea Salt, 1Kg
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of cooked lentils, 1 finely chopped onion, 3/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix thoroughly.
- 3. Beat 1 egg in a separate bowl and add it to the lentil mixture. Stir well to incorporate.
- 4. Add 1/2 cup of tomato sauce, 1 teaspoon of minced garlic, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt. Mix until evenly combined. If the mixture feels too dry, add up to 2/3 cup of tomato sauce, ensuring it doesn't become too sloppy.
- 5. Lightly grease a loaf pan with lemon & oregano infused olive oil and transfer the lentil mixture into the pan. Smooth the top with a spatula or fork.
- 6. Bake the loaf uncovered for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and crispy.
- 7. Remove the loaf from the oven and let it cool for at least 5 minutes.
- 8. Carefully turn the loaf out onto a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
