Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- 2. Chop the parsley and dill finely, and mince the garlic cloves.
- 3. In a small bowl, mix the parsley, dill, garlic, lemon zest, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create the herb mixture.
- 4. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared tray and spread the herb mixture evenly over the top.
- 5. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until cooked through and flaky.
- 6. While the salmon is baking, trim the ends of the asparagus and steam them in a steamer basket for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
- 7. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it cool for a minute before plating.
- 8. Arrange the steamed asparagus alongside the salmon on plates, and drizzle with a bit of fresh lemon juice if desired.
