- 50G Picard Chopped Flat Parsley
- - Thyme Bunched Herb
- 1 kg Palourde Clams Fresh 1Kg
- 200G Mergulo Original Plant-Based Butter
- 60G Terre Exotique Cheeselovers Pepper, 60G
- - Sunita Lemon Juice Organic
- 227G Paxo Golden Breadcrumbs
- - Schwartz Paprika
- - Maldon Sea Salt
Instructions
- 1. Scrub the outside of the clam shells thoroughly, discarding any broken or open clams.
- 2. Soak the clams in salted water for at least 3 hours to clean them thoroughly. Rinse and drain the clams afterward.
- 3. Place 1/2 cup of water in a 2-quart casserole dish. Microwave on High for 2 to 3 1/2 minutes or until the water boils. Add the clams to the dish.
- 4. Cover the casserole dish and microwave on High for 3 to 5 1/2 minutes, stirring once, until the clams open. Remove clams from the dish as they begin to open.
- 5. Remove each clam from its shell and reserve half of each shell. Mince the clam meat and set it aside.
- 6. In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup bread crumbs, 3 tablespoons melted butter, 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, 1/8 teaspoon thyme, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, and 2 teaspoons lemon juice until well combined.
- 7. Spoon the minced clam meat back into the reserved shells. Top each with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- 8. Arrange the filled shells on a baking sheet and broil on high for 2-3 minutes, or until the topping is golden and crisp.
- 9. Serve the herb-crusted clams warm as a delightful dinner centerpiece.
