- 1 Kg Yellow/White Onion 1kg

Instructions
- 1. In a large skillet, brown 1 lb of ground halal beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
- 2. In a large pot, combine 2 cans of chopped tomatoes, 1 can of diced tomatoes, and 1 can of kidney beans (drained and rinsed).
- 3. Add 2 stalks of celery (chopped) and 1 onion (diced) to the pot. Stir well to combine.
- 4. Season the mixture with 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1/4 tsp thyme, 1/8 tsp cumin, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir thoroughly.
- 5. Add the cooked ground beef to the pot and mix well. Heat the stew over medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the flavors meld together.
