- 1kg 1kg Green Pepper
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 2.5 Kg Casa Marrazzo Organic Chopped Tomatoes, 2.5Kg
- 830G Turkish Tomato Paste, 830G
- 199G La Costena Sliced Green Jalapeno Peppers, 199G
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
- - Schwartz Garlic Powder 480g
- 70G Mill & Mortar Citrus Salt Flakes, 70G
- - Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar
- - Schwartz Italian Seasoning
Instructions
- 1. Heat 1 cup of cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- 2. Add 6 cups of chopped green peppers, 2 cups of chopped jalapeno peppers, and 6 cups of diced onions. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 10-15 minutes.
- 3. Allow the cooked vegetables to cool slightly, then transfer them to a blender along with 2 cups of chopped tomatoes. Blend until smooth.
- 4. Return the blended mixture to the pot and stir in 4 teaspoons of garlic powder, 1/2 ounce of italian seasoning, 5 tablespoons of tomato paste, 1/2 cup of salt, and 1/2 cup of sugar.
- 5. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Once the sauce has thickened, transfer it to sterilized jars and seal tightly. Allow to cool before storing.
