Ingredients
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 1kg 1kg Green Pepper
- 280G Caprichos Del Paladar Roasted Chopped Tomatoes, 280G
- - Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar
- 70G Mill & Mortar Citrus Salt Flakes, 70G
- 720 Ml Ume Drinking Vinegar, 720Ml
- 100 G Fudco Cinnamon Powder
- 25 g Artemis Cloves Grain Bio 25 G
- - Bart Allspice Ground 40g
Instructions
- 1. Chop 12 onions, 3 green peppers, and 2 kg of tomatoes into small pieces.
- 2. In a large pot, combine the chopped onions, green peppers, and tomatoes with 5 cups of sugar, 1/2 cup of salt, 7 cups of vinegar, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, 2 teaspoons of clove, and 2 teaspoons of allspice.
- 3. Cook the mixture on low heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to a sauce-like consistency. This may take about 1-2 hours.
- 4. Once the sauce has thickened, taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- 5. Carefully ladle the hot sauce into sterilized jars, leaving some headspace. Seal the jars tightly and allow them to cool completely before storing.
