Ingredients

  • 200G All Things Butter Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
  • 1kg 1kg Green Pepper
  • 60G Terre Exotique Black Sao Tome Pepper, 60G
  • 100 Ml X 2 Fundodai Soy Sauce Set, 100Ml X 2
  • - Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar
  • - Tata Salt
  • 100G Natco Garlic Powder (Jar) 100g
  • 500 G Brown & Polson Cornflour

Instructions

  1. 1. Melt 1/2 cup butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add 2 lb halal beef strips to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in 1 sliced onion and 1 sliced green bell pepper, cooking until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Add 4 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, and 1/8 tsp garlic powder to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
  5. 5. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  6. 6. In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water to create a slurry. Gradually stir this into the skillet to thicken the sauce.
  7. 7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
  8. 8. Serve the pepper steak hot over steamed rice.
