Ingredients

  • 1 Piece Red Bell Pepper, 1pcs | Gopuff
  • 850G Riseria Campanini 3 Cereals Rice, 850G
  • 500 Ml Daylesford Organic Hot & Sour Vegetable Broth
  • - Ktc Vegetable Oil
  • - Lee Kum Kee Premium Dark Soy Sauce
  • 420G Kingsford Corn Starch, 420G

Instructions

  1. 1. Thinly slice 900 g halal flank steak diagonally into strips.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and 1 sliced onion, cooking until the steak is browned and the onion is softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. 3. In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp corn starch with 1 1/4 cups vegetable broth and 1 tbsp soy sauce. Pour this mixture into the skillet with the steak and onion.
  4. 4. Stir the mixture until it begins to thicken. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. 5. While the steak simmers, cut 2 bell peppers into thin strips and 1 tomato into wedges.
  6. 6. After 30 minutes, add the bell peppers and tomato to the skillet. Stir to combine and let it simmer uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  7. 7. Meanwhile, cook 2 cups of rice according to package instructions.
