Ingredients

  • - Thomas Ridley Fresh British Beef Mince
  • 165G Philadelphia Lightest Low Fat Soft Cream Cheese
  • - Cathedral City Mature Cheddar Cheese
  • - Jus Rol Puff Pastry Squares-1x5.2kg
  • NaN Organic Golden Flaxseed Flour
  • - Tropical Sun Onion Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. Separate the puff pastry into ten biscuits and press or roll each into a 4-inch circle.
  3. 3. In a bowl, combine 3 oz cream cheese, 3 oz shredded cheddar cheese, and 1 tablespoon onion powder. Mix until smooth.
  4. 4. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture onto the center of each biscuit. Fold the dough in half over the filling and press the edges with a fork to seal.
  5. 5. In a skillet, brown 1 lb halal ground beef over medium heat with 3 tablespoons onion powder. Drain any excess fat.
  6. 6. Stir in 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 3 oz shredded cheddar cheese, and 2 tablespoons flaxseed flour into the cooked beef. Heat the mixture until hot and bubbly, stirring continuously to prevent the flaxseed from clumping.
  7. 7. Pour the hot beef mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and arrange the filled biscuits on top.
  8. 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the biscuits are deep golden brown.
  9. 9. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your delicious Halal Cheesy Biscuit Bake.
