About this recipe

A delightful Jain-friendly dinner dish featuring grilled tomatoes topped with spiced paneer, toasted pine nuts, and a tangy dressing. Perfect for those seeking a quick yet flavorful solution.

Ingredients

  • 400G Casa Marrazzo Peeled Organic Tomatoes, 400G
  • - Everest Paneer
  • 500 Ml Cirio Extra Virgin Olive Oil 100% Italian Riserva
  • 100G Halen Mon Umami Sea Salt, 100G
  • 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
  • - Mccormick Cumin Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the grill. If using a gas grill, heat it to medium. If using a charcoal grill, start the charcoal or wood briquettes; when ready, distribute them evenly under the cooking area for direct heat. Oil the grate lightly.
  2. 2. Slice the tomatoes into thick rounds. Brush both sides of the tomato slices with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and season with Halen Mon Umami Sea Salt and black pepper to taste.
  3. 3. Grill the tomato slices for 1 to 2 minutes, turning every 30 seconds, until lightly charred on both sides. Transfer the grilled tomato slices to a serving platter.
  4. 4. Crumble the paneer into small pieces and sprinkle a pinch of cumin powder over it for added flavor. Top each grilled tomato slice with the spiced paneer.
  5. 5. Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil evenly over the tomatoes and paneer.
  6. 6. Serve immediately.
