Ingredients

  • 125 Ml Kikkoman Mirin-Style Sweet Cooking Seasoning, 125Ml
  • 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
  • - Ginger - 100g
  • 1 Bunch Spring Onions 1 Bunch
  • - Schwartz Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Piece Lemon Grass Bwfo
  • - Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • - Honey & Mustard Sauce
  • 160 Ml Cj Bibigo Sesame Oil
  • 300 g Trs Flake Rice Thick Pawa 300G
  • 400G Whole Chickpeas In Water
  • - Ktc Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak it for 15 minutes.
  2. 2. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger over medium heat.
  3. 3. Stir the sauce, bring it to a gentle simmer, and thicken with cornstarch mixed in a tablespoon of water.
  4. 4. Pat the salmon fillets dry and brush them generously with the teriyaki sauce.
  5. 5. Heat a grill pan over medium heat, add vegetable oil, and grill the salmon, skin-side down, for 4-5 minutes.
  6. 6. Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes while brushing more sauce on top.
  7. 7. Drain the soaked rice and cook it with water in a saucepan over medium heat until tender.
  8. 8. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and mix in sesame oil and toasted sesame seeds.
  9. 9. Plate the sesame rice and place the grilled teriyaki salmon on top.
  10. 10. Garnish with finely chopped spring onions and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.
