A flavorful and easy-to-make prawn satay dish, perfect for a pescatarian dinner. Juicy prawns are marinated in a fragrant turmeric and coriander blend, then grilled to perfection and served with a rich satay sauce.
Ingredients
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- - Schwartz Coriander Leaf Jar
- 225G The Tofoo Co. Original Seitan
- - Whole Earth Smooth Peanut Butter
- 1 Kg Peeled Prawns
- 400 g Trs Turmeric Powder 400G
- - Mill & Mortar Finishing Salt Flakes Gift Set
- - Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- 1. In a bowl, combine 2 cloves of finely chopped garlic, 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric, 1 finely chopped coriander root, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of oil to create the marinade.
- 2. Add 16 peeled and deveined green prawns to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
- 3. Skip the skewering process and prepare the prawns directly for grilling.
- 4. Place the marinated prawns directly on a preheated grill or BBQ set to high heat.
- 5. Grill the prawns for about 2 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are cooked through.
- 6. Serve the grilled prawns hot with 1 cup of satay sauce on the side for dipping.
