- 1.5Kg Portobello Mushrooms, 1.5Kg
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- 200G All Things Butter Unsalted Butter
- 750 Ml Alto De Bayna Barrica Red Wine, 750Ml
- 60G Terre Exotique Cheeselovers Pepper, 60G
- - Ds Cjo Soy Sauce For Soup 840ml
- - Mill & Mortar Finishing Salt Flakes Gift Set
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- 2. Remove the stems from 4 large portobello mushrooms and gently scrape out the gills with a spoon. Set aside.
- 3. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add 1/2 cup finely chopped onion and 1 minced clove of garlic. Cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 4. Stuff the onion and garlic mixture into the cavities of the prepared portobello mushrooms. Brush the outside of the mushrooms with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
- 5. Place the stuffed mushrooms on the grill, cavity side up. Grill for 5-7 minutes per side, or until tender and slightly charred.
- 6. While the mushrooms are grilling, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add 1/4 cup red wine and simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
- 7. Remove the mushrooms from the grill and place them on a serving platter. Drizzle the red wine sauce over the mushrooms.
