- - Sunita Lemon Juice Organic
- - Nearly Naked Veg Basil 100g
- - Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar
- 500 G Brown & Polson Cornflour
Instructions
- 1. Drain the liquid from the canned green beans into a saucepan (1-quart or larger).
- 2. Add 2 tablespoons of plant-based butter, 3 tablespoons of vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of dried dill, 1/4 teaspoon of, and 1 tablespoon of vegetable broth substitute (vegetable broth or water with salt). Heat the mixture to boiling while stirring.
- 3. In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of cold water until smooth. Stir this mixture into the saucepan.
- 4. Cook the sauce, stirring continuously, until it thickens and becomes clear, about 5 minutes.
- 5. Add 2 cups of shredded cabbage to the saucepan and heat to boiling. Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
- 6. Add the drained green beans to the saucepan and cook until the beans are heated through, about 2 to 3 minutes.
