- - Mori-Nu Silken Firm Tofu
- 125 Ml Kikkoman Mirin-Style Sweet Cooking Seasoning, 125Ml
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- - Ginger - 100g
- 450G Pack'D Organic Broccoli Florets
- 1 Kg Carrots - 1kg
- 1 Bunch Spring Onions 1 Bunch
- - Schwartz Sesame Seeds
- - Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- 120 Ml Lee Kee Seasoned Rice Vinegar 120ml
- 300G Brown Sugar With Ginger, 300G
- 160 Ml Cj Bibigo Sesame Oil
- 500G Biona Organic Long Grain Italian White Rice
Instructions
- 1. Press the tofu for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut into bite-sized cubes.
- 2. Mix soy sauce, mirin, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and cornstarch in a small bowl to create the teriyaki sauce.
- 3. Mince garlic and ginger finely and set aside for stir-frying later.
- 4. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat and pan-sear tofu cubes until golden and crispy on all sides.
- 5. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the tofu in the skillet and simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
- 6. Steam the white rice in a rice cooker or pot until fluffy and set aside for plating.
- 7. In another pan, stir-fry broccoli florets, thinly sliced carrots, minced garlic, and ginger for 4-5 minutes.
- 8. Assemble the bowl by layering steamed rice, stir-fried vegetables, and glazed tofu.
- 9. Garnish with sliced spring onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.
