Ingredients

  • NaN Grami Foxtail Millet
  • NaN Aroy-D Coconut Milk
  • 100 G Fresh Green Peas 100g
  • 500 G Fresh Vine Tomato 500g
  • 1 Kg Cashews, 1Kg
  • - Coriander Seeds Catering Size
  • - Old India Mustard Seeds
  • - Jalpur Cumin Seeds
  • NaN Fresh Coriander Bunch
  • 400 g Trs Turmeric Powder 400G
  • 750 G Top-Op Table Salt Drums
  • 1 Ltr Ktc Sunflower Oil
  • 400G Whole Chickpeas In Water

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the millet thoroughly under running water and drain well.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a deep pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
  3. 3. Once the seeds crackle, add chopped tomatoes and turmeric powder, sauté until soft.
  4. 4. Add green peas and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. Pour in water and coconut milk, bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  6. 6. Add the rinsed millet and salt, stir well to combine evenly.
  7. 7. Lower the heat, cover the pan, and let the millet cook for 15 minutes until soft and fluffy.
  8. 8. Meanwhile, dry roast the cashews in a small pan until golden and set aside.
  9. 9. Once the millet is cooked, fluff it up using a fork and mix in the roasted cashews.
  10. 10. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve warm.
