Instructions
- 1. Rinse the quinoa and red lentils thoroughly under cold water to remove any impurities.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and sauté until aromatic, then add chopped onions and cook until golden.
- 3. Stir in minced garlic and ginger, cooking for 1-2 minutes to release their flavors.
- 4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften, creating a flavorful base for the dish.
- 5. Mix in turmeric, coriander powder, and red chili powder, stirring well to coat the ingredients evenly.
- 6. Add the red lentils to the pan and pour in water, letting it simmer until the lentils are tender, about 15 minutes.
- 7. In a separate saucepan, cook the quinoa with water and a pinch of salt until fluffy and fully absorbed.
