- 60G Terre Exotique Cheeselovers Pepper, 60G
- 500 Ml Tropicana Orange Original 500Ml
- 850G Riseria Campanini 3 Cereals Rice, 850G
- 50G Picard Chopped Flat Parsley
- 225G The Tofoo Co. Original Seitan
- 290G Portland Mills Jamaican Curry Powder, 290G
- - Tata Salt
- 300G Brown Sugar With Ginger, 300G
- 85G Oriental Hot Mustard Powder, 85G
Instructions
- 1. In a small bowl, combine 2 teaspoons curry powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
- 2. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over 6 pieces of seitan, rubbing it onto both sides. Set aside.
- 3. In a 10-inch skillet, combine 1 1/2 cups orange juice, 1 cup rice, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 teaspoon dry mustard, and the remaining 3/4 teaspoon salt. Stir well to mix.
- 4. Arrange the seasoned seitan pieces on top of the rice mixture in the skillet.
- 5. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
- 6. Remove the skillet from heat and let it stand, covered, for about 5 minutes, allowing the liquid to fully absorb into the rice.
- 7. Garnish the dish with freshly chopped parsley before serving. Serve warm and enjoy.
