- 400 g Manning Impex Frozen Tempeh 400G
- 187 Ml Pure Maple Syrup, 187Ml
- 160 Ml Cj Bibigo Sesame Oil
- 120 Ml Lee Kee Seasoned Rice Vinegar 120ml
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
- - Ginger - 100g
- 100 g Yorkshire English Carrots 100G
- 1 Piece Cucumber 1Pc
- 1 Bunch Spring Onions 1 Bunch
- 60G Toasted White Sesame Seeds, 60G
- 500G Cj Taeyangcho Red Pepper Gochujang Paste
- - Kikkoman Soy Sauce
Instructions
- 1. Slice the tempeh into thin strips about 1 cm thick to ensure even cooking.
- 2. In a bowl, mix gochujang paste, soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- 3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook the tempeh strips for 2 minutes per side until lightly browned.
- 4. Pour the prepared sauce over the tempeh in the pan and cook for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the tempeh.
- 5. Wash and pat dry the lettuce leaves to prepare them for wrapping.
- 6. Julienne the carrot and cucumber into thin, even strips for the filling.
- 7. Finely slice the spring onions for a fresh and mild garnish.
- 8. Place a lettuce leaf on a plate and add a few strips of glazed tempeh to the center.
- 9. Top the tempeh with julienned carrots, cucumber, and a sprinkle of spring onions for crunch and color.
- 10. Garnish each wrap with a pinch of sesame seeds for added texture and nutty flavor.
