Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 1/4 cups of cooked lentils, 1/3 cup finely chopped onion, 1/3 cup finely chopped bell pepper, 1/3 cup chopped walnuts, 1/4 teaspoon dried sage, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- 3. Mash the mixture slightly with a fork or potato masher to help it bind together, leaving some texture for a hearty bite.
- 4. Form the mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
