  • 280G Caprichos Del Paladar Roasted Chopped Tomatoes, 280G
  • - Forest Whole Foods Organic White Quinoa
  • - Chilli Powder Rajah

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown 1 lb of lean ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess fat.
  3. 3. Add 1 diced onion and 1 cup of uncooked quinoa to the skillet with the beef. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the onion softens slightly and the quinoa is lightly toasted.
  4. 4. Stir in 1 can of beans (drained and rinsed), 1 can of diced tomatoes (with their juice), 1 tablespoon of chili seasoning, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix well to combine.
  5. 5. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and spread it out evenly. Cover the dish tightly with a lid or aluminum foil.
  6. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the quinoa is tender and most of the moisture is absorbed.
  7. 7. Remove from the oven, let it rest for 5 minutes, then fluff the quinoa gently with a fork before serving.
