- 2.27L / 4 Pints British Whole Milk 2.27L / 4 Pints
- 1 stick Organic Celery Stick
- 5 Kg Daawat Original Basmati Rice 5kg
- 200G Picard - Breaded Shrimp
- 120G Seafood & Eat It Handpicked Dressed Crab
- - Mill & Mortar Finishing Salt Flakes Gift Set
- - Schwartz Paprika
- 125G Valencia Fried Almonds With Salt, 125G
Instructions
- 1. Cook 1 1/3 cups of uncooked white long grain rice according to package instructions until dry and fluffy. Set aside.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, blend 2 cans of cream of shrimp soup with 1/2 cup of mayonnaise until smooth.
- 3. Stir in 1 finely chopped onion, 3/4 cup of milk, and season generously with salt and paprika to taste.
- 4. Add 3 cups of cooked shrimp, 1 cup of lump crabmeat, 1 1/3 cups of chopped celery, and 1 cup of sliced water chestnuts to the mixture. Mix well to combine.
- 5. Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning if needed. If the mixture seems too dry, add a few tablespoons of milk to achieve a moist consistency.
- 6. Transfer the mixture into a large, shallow buttered casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
- 7. Sprinkle the top with 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley, a light dusting of paprika, and 1/2 cup of sliced almonds for a crunchy topping.
- 8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbling and the top is golden.
