Ingredients
- - Oatmeal Medium Bwfo
- 2.27L / 4 Pints British Whole Milk 2.27L / 4 Pints
- 1 Kg Carrots - 1kg
- 1 Piece Red Bell Pepper, 1pcs | Gopuff
- - Longley Farm Cottage Cheese
- 400G Sabarot Chia Seeds, 400G
- - Tata Salt
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- 1. Finely chop 1 red bell pepper and grate 1/2 cup of carrot. Set aside.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of cottage cheese, 2 tablespoons of chia seeds mixed with 6 tablespoons of water, 1 cup of oatmeal, 1/2 cup of milk, the chopped red bell pepper, and grated carrot. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- 3. Season the mixture with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and stir to combine.
- 4. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and add a small amount of oil.
- 5. Scoop a portion of the mixture and form it into a flat patty. Place it in the pan and repeat with the remaining mixture, cooking in batches if necessary.
- 6. Cook each fritter for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 7. Remove the fritters from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- 8. Serve the fritters warm as a main dish or alongside a fresh salad for a complete meal.
