- 50G Picard Chopped Flat Parsley
- 1kg 1kg Green Pepper
- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 50G Pepper Black Ground BWFO
- 200G Daylesford Smoked Trout
- 400G Sabarot Chia Seeds, 400G
- 227G Paxo Golden Breadcrumbs
- - Tata Salt
- 100G Natco Paprika Powder 100g
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- 1. Drain 500 g of canned salmon and remove any large bones or skin. Flake the salmon into a large mixing bowl.
- 2. Finely chop 1 green pepper, 1 onion, and 1/3 cup of fresh parsley. Add them to the bowl with the salmon.
- 3. Add 1 cup of liquid egg, 1 1/2 cups of bread crumbs, 1 tbsp of black pepper, 1 1/2 tbsp of salt, and 1 tsp of paprika to the bowl. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
- 4. Using a small scoop or tablespoon, shape the mixture into small patties, about the size of hush puppies.
- 5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties into the pan and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 6. Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- 7. Serve the crispy salmon patties warm with your favorite dipping sauce or a fresh side salad.
