- 500G Michele Portoghese Gnocchi, 500G
- 395G D'Aucy Chopped Spinach
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- 2. Add 1 finely chopped onion and 1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- 3. Stir in 450 g of spinach and 1 cup of double cream. Simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 4. Add 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir until the cheeses are fully melted and the sauce is smooth. Turn off the heat.
- 5. Meanwhile, cook 1 lb of gnocchi according to the package instructions. Drain well.
- 6. Combine the cooked gnocchi with the spinach sauce in the skillet. Toss gently to coat the gnocchi evenly.
- 7. Serve hot, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
