- 1 Kg Fresh Onion Pack. 1kg - Ofoodi African Store
- 1 Kg Baby Potatoes 1kg
- - Longley Farm Freshly Soured Cream
- - Co-Op British Milk Soured Cream
- 2.27L / 4 Pints British Whole Milk 2.27L / 4 Pints
- - Tata Salt
- 60G Terre Exotique Cheeselovers Pepper, 60G
- 200G All Things Butter Unsalted Butter
- 500 Ml Daylesford Organic Hot & Sour Vegetable Broth
Instructions
- 1. Melt 2 tbsp unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- 2. Add 2 diced onions to the skillet. Cook and stir until the onions are tender, about 8-10 minutes.
- 3. Add 1 cup water to the skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 50 minutes.
- 4. In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup sour cream and 1 1/4 cups milk until smooth. Stir this mixture into the skillet.
- 5. Add 2 diced potatoes, 1 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper to the skillet. Cover and simmer for an additional 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender.
- 6. Sprinkle 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese over the stew and let it melt for 5 minutes before serving.
