  • 400 g Trs Turmeric Powder 400G
  • - Jalpur Cumin Seeds
  • - Ktc Vegetable Oil
  • 100 g Wijaya Coriander Seeds 100G
  • 400G Whole Chickpeas In Water

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the millet thoroughly under cold water and set aside to drain.
  2. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet and add cumin seeds, allowing them to sizzle for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add finely chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and green chilies, sautéing until the onions turn golden brown.
  4. 4. Stir in coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt, cooking for another minute to bloom the spices.
  5. 5. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and begin to brown slightly.
  6. 6. Pour in the coconut milk and water, stirring well to combine with the spices and mushrooms.
  7. 7. Add the rinsed millet to the skillet, ensuring it is evenly distributed in the liquid.
  8. 8. Cover the skillet and simmer over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, or until the millet is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
  9. 9. Remove from heat and let the pilaf sit covered for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
