- 1 Kg Red Onion 1kg
- 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g

- - Cofresh Whole Green Chilli 350g
- - Jalpur Coriander Powder Dhana Powder
- 400 g Trs Turmeric Powder 400G
- - Jalpur Cumin Seeds
- - Ktc Vegetable Oil
- 100 g Wijaya Coriander Seeds 100G
- 400G Whole Chickpeas In Water
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the millet thoroughly under cold water and set aside to drain.
- 2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet and add cumin seeds, allowing them to sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add finely chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and green chilies, sautéing until the onions turn golden brown.
- 4. Stir in coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt, cooking for another minute to bloom the spices.
- 5. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and begin to brown slightly.
- 6. Pour in the coconut milk and water, stirring well to combine with the spices and mushrooms.
- 7. Add the rinsed millet to the skillet, ensuring it is evenly distributed in the liquid.
- 8. Cover the skillet and simmer over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, or until the millet is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
- 9. Remove from heat and let the pilaf sit covered for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 10. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving warm.
