  • 100 G Jumbo Garlic 100g
  • 1kg 1kg Green Pepper
  • - The Tofoo Co. Naked Tofu
  • 250G Ginger - 250g
  • NaN Filippo Berio Classico Pure Olive Oil
  • 250 Ml Bellei Balsamic Vinegar Of Modena Density 1,12
  • 400G Whole Chickpeas In Water
  • 500 Ml Haday Signature Dark Soy Sauce, 500Ml
  • 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
  • 200 ml Ghee
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised

Instructions

  1. Rinse lentils and cook them with 3 cups of water until soft and mushy (about 20 minutes).
  2. Cook basmati rice separately with 2 cups of water until tender.
  3. Heat ghee in a small pan and add cumin seeds. Let them sizzle.
  4. Add chopped garlic and sauté until golden. Add tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour the tadka (tempering) over the cooked lentils and stir gently.
  6. Season with salt and serve hot over rice.
