Ingredients

  • 250G Adi Apicoltura Organic Orange Honey
  • 500 Ml Dios Baco Pedro Ximenez Sherry, 500Ml
  • - Sunita Lemon Juice Organic
  • 400 g Manning Impex Frozen Tempeh 400G
  • 50G Terre Exotique Madagascan Cinnamon Powder, 50G
  • - Jalpur Curry Powder
  • - Schwartz Garlic Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. In a medium bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup sherry, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon curry powder, and 1 teaspoon garlic salt to create the marinade.
  2. 2. Cut 500 g of tempeh into thick slices or cubes and place them in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the tempeh, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  3. 3. Cover the dish and refrigerate for several hours or overnight to allow the tempeh to absorb the flavors.
  4. 4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the marinated tempeh to a baking dish, arranging the pieces in a single layer. Reserve the remaining marinade.
  5. 5. Bake the tempeh uncovered for 45 minutes, basting occasionally with the reserved marinade to keep it moist and flavorful.
  6. 6. Once the tempeh is golden and slightly caramelized, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with your choice of sides.
