Ingredients
- 250G Adi Apicoltura Organic Orange Honey
- 500 Ml Dios Baco Pedro Ximenez Sherry, 500Ml
- - Sunita Lemon Juice Organic
- 400 g Manning Impex Frozen Tempeh 400G
- 50G Terre Exotique Madagascan Cinnamon Powder, 50G
- - Jalpur Curry Powder
- - Schwartz Garlic Salt
Instructions
- 1. In a medium bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup sherry, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon curry powder, and 1 teaspoon garlic salt to create the marinade.
- 2. Cut 500 g of tempeh into thick slices or cubes and place them in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the tempeh, ensuring each piece is well coated.
- 3. Cover the dish and refrigerate for several hours or overnight to allow the tempeh to absorb the flavors.
- 4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the marinated tempeh to a baking dish, arranging the pieces in a single layer. Reserve the remaining marinade.
- 5. Bake the tempeh uncovered for 45 minutes, basting occasionally with the reserved marinade to keep it moist and flavorful.
- 6. Once the tempeh is golden and slightly caramelized, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with your choice of sides.
