Ingredients
- 1 Piece Fresh Green Pumpkin Piece I 1kg
- 500 Ml Sesame Oil 10 Litres
- 40G Terre Exotique "Extra" Turmeric Powder, 40G
- - Mccormick Cumin Powder
- 70G Mill & Mortar Citrus Salt Flakes, 70G
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2. Cut the pumpkin in half and remove the seeds. Place the halves cut side up on a baking tray.
- 3. In a small bowl, mix 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp, and a pinch of salt.
- 4. Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the pumpkin halves. Drizzle 2 tbsp of sesame oil over the top.
- 5. Add a small amount of water to the baking tray to prevent the pumpkin from drying out.
- 6. Bake the pumpkin in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes, or until the flesh is tender and easily scoopable.
- 7. Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and scoop out the spiced pumpkin pulp. Serve warm as a side dish or main course.
